About the Owner's of Fefe's Fort!

Fefe's Fort, LLC is a family business opened in August 2006. We provide dog grooming services, and have a huge variety of retail products for pets, pet lovers, and Nebraska Husker fans. Fefe's Fort, LLC is owned and operated by sisters and North Platte natives, Tami Jo Smith and Michelle A. Fletcher. 

Tami Jo Smith: Co-Owner, Groomer. 
Tami has been a dog groomer since 1996. She was trained by a local groomer and operated Show and Tell Styles in North Platte. She later groomed at a cage-free dog grooming salon in Denver, Colorado. She has quickly developed the trade skills that have led to her success. She loves dealing with animals and has dreamed of owning her own dog grooming salon. This career is her life -- her calling. 

Michelle A. Fletcher: Co-Owner, Office Manager. 
After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Math from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Michelle worked for J.D. Edwards in Denver, Colorado for 10 years. After J.D. Edwards was acquired by PeopleSoft she moved her family back to North Platte. Utilizing her experience with online marketing and managing ecommerce businesses, she opened a small ecommerce store Husker City (www.HuskerCity.com) that specializes in Nebraska Cornhusker merchandise. In 2006 she opened Fefe's Fort, LLC with her sister, Tami. In 2007, HuskerCity.com was merged into and is now owned and operated by Fefe's Fort, LLC.

Trena Epler: FURminator/Groomer.
Trena has worked with animals for years as a vet assistant and a volunteer at the animal shelter. She started with Fefe's Fort in July 2007 and specializes in our FURminator treatments and large dog grooming.

Laura Carpenter: Bather/Groomer.
Laura joined Fefe's Fort in March 2008 and is a bather and an apprentice groomer.

Steffanie Heliker: Groomer.
Steffanie joined Fefe's Fort in June 2008 as a groomer. She has experience working as a groomer in Fremont and Pets R Us in Omaha.
